Puppies

As some of you may know My dog Heidi had seven puppies christmas night. Unfortunately out of those seven only four lived through the night. In the 14 years my family has been breeding these dogs we've only lost one other puppy besides these, and that was due to circumstances beyond our control (the pup was born outside and we didn't find out about it until the next day). As such loosing so many was a real blow to all of us, especially my mom. To make matters worse, my mom took the remaining puppies to the vet for their checkup, and the stupid vet gave them dewormer. As a result, one of the females died last night, and one of the males is acting exactly like she did last night, meaning that we may end up with only two of the seven alive and healthy by the end of the day.

You Were Nice This Year!

You're an uber-perfect person who is on the top of Santa's list. You probably didn't even *think* any naughty thoughts this year. Unless you're a Mormon, you've probably been a little too good. Is that extra candy cane worth being a sweetheart for 365 days straight?

*laughs*

Two Days Late

MERRY CHRISTMAS!! I know it's late, but I wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of each and every one of you. I love you all so much and appreciate your friendship. I hope you have a very happy holidays!

Bloody sacrifice gone to waste

Well the good news is, I should be safe from vampires now.
Yesterday I spent 7 hours volunteering at my stake's (hehe) blood drive. All was fine and dandy; I spent my time watching to make sure everyone signed in and ate something before they left. About an hour before it was supposed to end I decided to go ahead and give blood. I filled out all the paperwork, took the necessary tests, was pronounced fit to donate, and watched as the nurse stuck the HUGE needle in my arm. After the bloodletting was over I went back to work. A while later when my dad came in the nurses discovered that neither of us are supposed to give blood, meaning that my "donation" will most likely be thrown away *muttermutter*.
On the plus side I now have a completely legitimate excuse to stay far away from the needles, at least until I have been out of the house for a year.

*is beyond words right now*

Everyone, right now, has to go and read this article.   It has got to be one of the funniest things I have ever read.

After a long and in depth conversation, Bethany and I have concluded that there are certain people whom we have absolutely no idea what to get for Christmas. As such we are requesting a wishlist from everyone (posted on livejournal so as others as lost as we are may read and enjoy). It doesn't have to be all that long nor does all of it have to be completely within a normal teenager's budget (I, for example, will be asking for a car^^;) but please help us out and give us some idea of what we could possibly get you.

I'll be posting a list shortly, as will Bethany, so please put your modest, unselfish desires behind and give us a your material wishlist.

Now back in Utah I am appalled to find snow on the ground. It wasn't there when I left and it shouldn't be there now dangit!

...

So yes. Shelli and I are the only ones in my house at the moment, and probably will be so for the next week. The rest of my family is still at my grandparent's house, while shelli and I had such things as school to worry about...which I should probably be working on now...

And la last word before I do

the Wit
(71% dark, 34% spontaneous, 31% vulgar)

your humor style:
CLEAN | COMPLEX | DARK

You like things edgy, subtle, and smart. I guess that means you're probably an intellectual, but don't take that to mean pretentious. You realize 'dumb' can be witty--after all isn't that the Simpsons' philosophy?--but rudeness for its own sake, 'gross-out' humor and most other things found in a fraternity leave you totally flat.

I guess you just have a more cerebral approach than most. You have the perfect mindset for a joke writer or staff writer.

Your sense of humor takes the most thought to appreciate, but it's also the best, in my opinion.

You probably loved the Office. If you don't know what I'm talking about, check it out here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/theoffice/.
